Random Facts:

  • In an interview with Original Sound Version, Jeramiah Ross mentions Daft Punk as being one of his influences, and adds that he thinks it’s a compliment for someone to say he sounds like Daft Punk, but further adds “I still have a long way to go to be anything close to Daft Punk.”
  • At the time of the same interview with Original Sound Version, Jeramiah Ross also mentions that his favorite track he created for Shatter was “Freon World” mainly due to the “massive guitar solo in the middle”; and he sent it to Sidhe thinking it was too over the top to be used in the game, but it ended up working well, and helped him to develop other guitar pieces for the game.
  • The soundtrack for Shatter has won numerous awards; including a few for “Best Original Soundtrack of 2009”.

This isn’t a submission that I’d normally expect to see, but I figured I’d push it through anyways.

I’ve only been able to check out two of the albums, Ocarina of Rhyme and Vinyl Fantasy VII, but these mashups are nice.

When I made this blog about 7 months ago, I wasn’t sure if anyone would ever follow this blog; to be honest. I just really enjoy the music in video games, and I had a lot of free time so I figured I would do little posts about the composers (along with other info). However this blog has grown, and seeing people enjoy these posts makes me really happy. I’ve even made some nice friends through this blog; one of which who now helps out with the blog as well! I just wanted to say thank you to everyone.
The 50th follower will be sent an ask about a song of their choosing to be featured on here! :)
Thank you,-Allegretto
